San Francisco ChronicleBob GrahamDigs up both laughs and chills from timeworn material.
EspinofMikel ZorrillaSimply everything fits into place, with Fraser leading a great cast and assuming his role of a modern Indiana Jones, to a villain who you really have to take seriously. [Full review in Spanish]
New York Daily NewsJack MathewsEven if The Mummy is imitation Spielberg, it offers more bang for the buck than we're used to getting.
New York PostJonathan ForemanCheerful, slightly cheesy entertainment that uses the latest special-effects techniques to breathe life into a venerable film tradition.
Screen It!Jim JudyBrendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz just don't have what it takes to carry the picture.
Hollywood Report CardRoss AnthonyA "B" movie wrapped in a winding cloth of "A" special effects.
Q Network Film DeskJames KendrickThere are a few jump-in-your-seat moments of pure fright, but this "Mummy" has more in common with Indiana Jones than Boris Karloff.
