In a moment of clarity, he decides to head home to report the story in an effort to reconnect with his roots, resurrect his career, and repair the relationship with his estranged sheriff-father. What he doesn't know is that his friends have concocted a story to help this former award-winning reporter reestablish his career. In the process he reconnects, then disconnects with reality in an hysterical funny, yet dramatic midnight movie that will not be forgotten for a long time after the 71 minutes it captures the viewer.
