He was hired by the local Samantha Porter, who owns with her relative Jonas Dodd the lands in the woods where the facility will be built. The Cooley family has a cold reception in town, and while voting for the approval of the project, the old woman Gretchen Caswell votes against the construction with many followers and mentions the historic importance of the spot and the name of Martha. Jeanne researches and discloses that two hundred and fifty years ago, a girl called Lucy Keyes got lost in the woods and in spite of the efforts of her mother Martha Keyes and the locals, she was never found. When the ghost of Martha comes to the fields around their property calling for Lucy, Jeanne realizes that the legend is true and that there are many hidden secrets in that location.

User ReviewRyan Cawesome scary and historic and bast on a true story
User ReviewMelissa Lee VKnowing this was based off a true story made me cry, any mother that loses a child would go insane, endlessly searching even after death, I can't believe what ppl would do for land and money.
User ReviewAlana CAwsome movie! Thrilling, touching....a masterpiece! And even more captavaiting that it is a true story. How anyone could commit such a crime to a poor, innocent little girl is beyond me.
User ReviewNicole iGood acting. Good script. Good sound recording and editing. Highly recommended.
User ReviewKathryn Sentertaining, interesting, and a good dose of local scenery and local legend.
User ReviewJoe HGreat low-budget movie that deserves more attention than it gets
User ReviewHeather Bit was pretty good, not scary enough though
User ReviewJordan RAn urban family leaves city life behind for the confines of rural New England. Little do they know that their new home once belonged to the Keyes family, a clan who experienced the tragic loss of their daughter some 250 years ago. Also it's based on a true story
User ReviewA CRun-of-the-mill "true" horror flick with above average acting.
User ReviewDeb SThis flawed script is low budget, strange and yet, interesting. The children featured in the film are subpar - making the few lines painful to watch ... but Justin Theroux and Julie Delpy work as an intense couple trying to cope in an essentially haunted property. The fact that the story is supposed pulled from true life makes it more interesting. I believe this movie aired on Lifetime (and premiered there) - which is exactly where it fits.
