User ReviewJenn DThis movie was so incredibly powerful and real. I thought they did a really fantastic job with it.
User ReviewMatt OI think this is an excellent film. Lots of emotion which gives you a glimpse into how it must feel to suddenly find yourself in a foreign country, betrayed by the people you trusted, beaten, raped and forced into prostitution. It certainly wasn't laugh a minute, but more films exactly like this should be made to highlight how people trafficking is a serious problem that isn't going away.
User ReviewRebecca RYeah was a pretty good movie aye! Was also sad as to the girls dying and the way they were being treated.
User ReviewOsamah Sbrilliant I can't believe this happems in Aus but it does
User ReviewMarc LA disturbing film, but a must watch. I didn't think it would get that detailed.
User ReviewMargot Kvery full on ozzie flick. Not on a full stomach.
User ReviewKevin MMost Powerful Australian Film I have seen for a long time. Very confronting film about the hidden sex slave trade in Melbourne. Emma Lung was excellent!
User ReviewSteve PA brillliant little Australian thriller that explores the sex trade in, of all places, Melbourne. Based on actual events and court transcripts. A must see movie!
User ReviewPatricia CHey, you should really see this! Jim Schembri (The Age)is so right. This is easily the best Aussie movie of the year. Real people, real places, real message and really great performances, direction and filmography combine to bring an exciting story to screen. You will regret it if you miss the experience and don't get to see Veronica Sywak, Saskia Burmeister, Emma Lung, Sun Park, Adriano Cotese, Amanda Ma and others give outstanding performances under the fabulous direction of Dee McLachlan. I run out of superlatives for this movie and have nothing but admiration for all involved. Please don't miss.
User ReviewJeff HOnce you get past the first 5 minutes and get over the low budget Aussie TV cop show feel, this realise you are watching a very powerful and striking movie. This film just builds and builds. Engrossing and confronting. Emma Lung (as soon as she makes some more high-budget movies) is set for higher things.
