Decent Films GuideSteven D. GreydanusRemains one of the best films ever produced by a faith-based group… avoids the glibness and moralizing that hamper so many religious productions.
User ReviewMaria Csaw this as a child--the scenes are burned into my memory--corrie is one of my heros
User ReviewGrace BWhat a great perspective on the Holocaust. So moving
User ReviewDana DWhen I saw this film a few years ago, I was blown away. Jeannette Clift George portrays Corrie Ten Boom so well, and it was her first and only acting role! The pain and hatred etched into her face were so strong.
User ReviewAisha AThis is such an emotional account of Christians trying to hide Jews in WWII. What a testimony!! I'm always a fan of the truth of what Hitler did to Europe coming out in the open!
User ReviewSusan Hgreat movie...based on the life on ten boom family...great testament of faith...going to have my kids ages 6y & 8y watch it
User ReviewKjersti AExcellent true story of Christians hiding Jews in Holland during WWII. Corrie ten Boom is alive today only because they accidentally released her from a concentration camp.
User ReviewLaura WSeeing this movie after having visited the Ten Boom home in Amsterdam, made a lot more sense to me. This movie is so touching. Will always be a favorite of mine. Love the music.
User ReviewElizabeth MCorrie was a very remarkable woman her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ helped her to suvive the loss of her entire family, persecution, and the horrors of imprisonment in a concentration camp. Corrie's faith in Christ also helped her to carry the Gospel to more than 60 countries around the world along with the message that "no pit is so deep that he is not deeper still". Here is a remarkable true story of hope in the midst of dispair.
User ReviewSteven PI watched "The Hiding Place" again after not seeing it for many years. It was extremely challenging and moving. It should be watched by any American Christian who has ever claimed to suffer persecution for the Lord's sake. How we need to pray that God would challenge our faith and get us out of our comfort zones!
