User Review - 10/10 by Leo Peter DIt is a superb movie that defied the long time taboos of the Filipinos.
User Review - 10/10 by Juls MGreat movie indeed! It was the second horror movie that made me scream so hard. :)
User Review - 10/10 by Marvin BThe best pa rn ang Pinoy pagdating sa Horror! 1. The Healing 2. Feng Shui 3. Sundo brrrrrrr kakatakot lol
User Review - 10/10 by Ian PThis horror movie by Chito Rono gives moviegoers spooks and creeps about faith healing this time after creating horror films about bagwa (Feng Shui, 2004), wedding curse (Sukob, 2006) and maligno (T2, 2009). The story has a good horror twist to tell as the movie unfolds into a series of solving the curse-like deaths after taking a faith healing. Be sure to get hold on your seats as this movie is packed with scares and suspense that will really make you jump and scream! The dark atmospheres used and sound effects were effective in delivering the thrill it wants to deliver. Plus add to that an ensemble casts of good actors like Vilma Santos in the lead whom I didn't know can be that great in horror movies as well and not just dramas that we are used to be. Janice De Belen was also perfect even as a support role. The movie has imperfections as well like the use of CGI's to make the effects believable but some scenes which it was used were not effective. The movie has a weird themed colors as the scenes progresses - I interpret it as emotion provoking visuals on the part of the viewers. Overall, a highly recommended Filipino horror movie and probably the best local horror film of 2012.
User Review - 10/10 by Rawballs BChito S. Roño created a bloody horror movie that is full of twisted scenes and loaded with superstitions, dogmas, and creeds...
User Review - 8/10 by Marc Joseph SChito S. Rono tried to emulate the winning formula of Feng Shui in The Healing but failed to capture the scariness of the former. The film was scary the first half but failed to sustain it until the end. Given the context of movies today, Rono pushed the boundaries of gore and violence in the Philippine cinema. And for that, The Healing is not a failure after all.
User Review - 8/10 by Abbygayle EAfter Feng Shui (Kris Aquino) 2004, finally another Philippine horror movie that actually scares!
User Review - 6/10 by Fidel Antonio MSloppy special effects, messy story, but well acted.
User Review - 6/10 by Rosa SWould have been nice to know that the movie had no subtitles for those of us that like foreign films but don't speak Tagalog
User Review - 6/10 by Mark James A...a fine horror picture that conjures cultural phenomena, exploitation of human emotions and mythical exploration.
