Leave your thoughts about Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter.
IGNEric GoldmanNo, it's not the final movie in the series, but it's the end of a particular era for Jason, and it's a good way to go out for the hockey masked killer.
Slant MagazineJeremiah KippEven though we would see more of Jason over the years (first as a zombie, then battling a telekinetic super-girl, taking on Freddy Krueger within his own warped dreams, even hacking teens to bits in outer space), this one certainly felt as if it properly closed out the Friday the 13th series before it devolved into unadulterated camp.
Combustible CelluloidJeffrey M. AndersonWatching it again today, it works oddly well, almost like a John Hughes movie that got lost and wandered into slasher territory.
7M PicturesKevin CarrThe final confrontation between Tommy and Jason is quite gorgeous, at least in the horror movie term of gore-geous.
Cinema CrazedFelix Vasquez Jr.A brutal but entertaining installment for the man behind the mask...
The Globe and Mail (Toronto)Jay ScottWhile not exactly an actress picture, The Final Chapter takes pains to make its characters a little more personable than the horror- movie norm. This is unfortunate, since there is nothing to do during the second half of the film but watch them die.
Reel Film ReviewsDavid NusairThere's little doubt that Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter marks the nadir of the series up to this point...
User ReviewFredrik ETom Savini's make-up and a kickass performance by Ted White as Jason makes this one of the best entries in the series. And Jason really dies in this one......NOT.
User ReviewCarlos OUNA DE LAS MEJORES PELICULAS SLASHER DE SU TIEMPO. PRIMARA VEZ QUE APARECE TOMMY JARVIS, NEMESIS DE JASON VOORHEES. ADEMAS UNA DE LAS PELICULAS QUE MAS REPRESENTAS ESTA SAGA DE HORROR. MUY BUENA
