After a few times I was able to pick up on the surprisingly subtle humor, that I must have been too stupid a kid to pick up on. The film is brilliant and quite funny. Like most westerns it makes a great use of the beautiful desert settings. Great performances by all the actors, especially Lancaster, Jim Hutton and Lee Remick. |
