Leave your thoughts about The Great American Songbook.
| JWRS. James WeggThe detailing of George Gershwin's life and sudden death at 38, like Mozart (35) and Schubert (31) made me wonder what they all could have produced if they'd made it to 50! |
| User Reviewjay nThis was a fantastic documentary on the American songbook, running along the same vein as the That's Entertainment movies. A couple things could have been improved: less singing from the host- we all know that these songs have been covered by hundreds of talented singers. There should be footage of someone else. Also, the amazing and sometimes rare footage, is never identitified by what or year. |
