| User ReviewRhonda TLoved this movie. A great follow up to the other Gaudioso's film Duke. Joseph played by Maurice Bernard gives a phenomenal performance as a man who is tortured with guilt over his wife's death. His wife and him go sailing, and only he comes back, but he doesn't remember what happened. Did he kill her, or was it an accident? He calls a reporter played by the incredible James Gaudioso to tell his side of the story of what really happened that day. The locals do not take to an outsider very well especially Jack played by Anthony Gaudioso who is the brother to Annabelle, Joseph's wife. Anthony Gaudioso gave a performance on the same caliber as Tom Hardy. He plays the villain role so well, while still making you understand his side of grief and anger over the loss of his sister. As the story builds to Jack removing every obstacle out of his way to get to Joseph you're right with Joseph questioning what really happened and did he actually kill his wife? Fantastic performances, and great filmmaking. It's a must see. |

The Gaudioso Twins, James and Anthony have much to be proud of for bringing this multi-dimensional film to the big screen. Maurice Benard is outstanding playing the complex role of Joseph...a troubled soul grieving over the loss of his wife and fighting his own demons both internally and externally. Maurice is surrounded by a talented and well cast group of characters who take you on this roller coaster ride. Set in a small coastal town the story unfolds with a series of emotional twists and turns forged with intrigue and adventure, love and loss, and an ultimate discovery that grips the audience and leaves you with feelings of relief and regret as the credits roll. Great film and a touching reminder that we are surrounded by people who are dealing with personal tragedy and grief who are in need of a little compassion...before it's too late. |
