User ReviewTori MWhile much of the earth's population is blinded by a brilliant meteor shower, small plants called triffids undergo horrifying mutations causing them to grow, acquire mobility, and feed on humans
User ReviewTom DStill a great scare, and one of the few films starring the great Howard Keel that WASN'T a musical!! The sound the Triffids make still sends shivers down my spine!! A must-see!!
User ReviewJohanna MThis movie is great! It has the most classic ending of any 60's movie ever made. I used to check T.V.listings and set the alarm if it was on the late, late movie.
User ReviewAngela MI can't get enough of movies where meteors bring disaster.

User ReviewJoEy MThis is another great movie!!!! Mayb old, but it has everything!!!! Suspence, gore (a lil bit) And a bit of humour. Surprisingly the special effects are good!!!
User ReviewMissa SMy mom used to have this movie, so I watched it as a kid. It's one of the first horror movies I watched and I was hooked. The sound effects they used to signify that the Triffids were moving was a little odd, but a smart idea. And because I was a kid, I didn't mind that the special effects weren't so great because I still had an imagination. lol.
