User ReviewJosh EANOTHER TEDDY FLIX MOVIE REVIEW: "The Culling (2015)" CAUTION ... THIS ONE WILL CREEP UP ON YOU! STARTS OFF LIKE THE CONJURING AND ENDS LIKE WOLF CREEK! THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A B-RATE FILM AND SURPRISINGLY IT WAS FAR BETTER! PLOT: A terrifying supernatural thriller in which a group of college friends on a road trip find themselves fighting off dark forces at a remote farmhouse after a chance encounter with a strange little girl. REVIEW: I put this film on to go to sleep to and behold, the story was actually enticing enough to not only wake me up, but hold my attention until the very end. The suspense element within "The Culling" was more than enough to make up for the "Made for SyFy Channel-esque" acting, by a cast member's list made up of unknowns .... at least unknown to me. Very little Special FX can be seen in this horror film and with that said, ... I found it to be very impressive how Director & Writer, Rustam Branaman used good old "Ray Bradbury Theater / Alfred Hitchcock Presents" screen writing technique to basically play on whatever fears the viewer of the film, has within themselves and then the climactic ending just makes you say ... WOW ... I thought I was watching a Teen Horror flick not a Sci-Fi Thriller. Pound for pound this movie rates 4 STARS!
User ReviewKenneth LThis was not terrible, up until the end, which was just ridiculous.
User ReviewJake CWatch out for random lost little girls near a restaurant that's closed in the middle of nowhere. Just call the police and let them handle it.
User ReviewKerry MThere's a fair amount of unrealised potential in this one.
User ReviewGary GTake out the "ghost" and you have a lame very obvious movie about a group of young adults who are drunk and high seeing shit, while the parents they just encounter plot to kill them and enjoys it with a smile.
User ReviewAbb JSo I picked this at random, thinking it looked ok. I was so very wrong.
User ReviewKarsh Dtruly awful horror film. five college friends battle supernatural forces at a strange farmhouse.
User Reviewbill sCompletely pointless and didn't make any sense. The acting pretty bad as well. It was decently-filmed though for the most part and had some potential, but failed.
User Reviewjack tslow moving, only scary because it wouldn't end.... 5 friends.... blah blah blah.... die one at a time until the popcorn runs out
User ReviewShannen SSeen better acting in an 6 year old childs nativity. Story lines rubbish also.
