| User ReviewDavid Ray GForbidden gay love stories were much more pragmatic in the 1970's than they are today. This particular movie deals with both the matter of a relationship between two men with a significant age different separating them, as well as their right to be together since homosexuality was once deemed a crime. I was well beguiled by this movie almost all the way through. Close to the ending however, I lost all interest without being able to pinpoint why exactly. Still, it remains a deeply interesting movie, reminiscent of Fassbinder, that should be seen at least once by those who follow the flourishing of gay cinema. |
