Ozus' World Movie ReviewsDennis SchwartzThe funny film falters badly in the final reel, with a really dumb and not too funny ending.
User ReviewThe Critic (Perhaps one of the least satisfying Laurel and Hardy ventures; the impact of their transition to Fox Studios is evident in the relaxed pace of the narrative, despite Laurel writing and directing some scenes. The film isn't a complete write-off, with some laugh-out-loud moments, but their limited improvisation and an annoying Diosa Costello makes this one, their last released in the United States, difficult to highly recommend.
User ReviewPhil SA real laurel and hardy movie from that period when they were used as B movie attractions, mostly out of character. No depressing subplot helping the young lovers fight the bad guys, just traditional stuff involving Stan and his look alike bullfighter , in Mexico. Typically , opportunity after opportunity for doing it right , fly out the window , but the whole deal hangs together pretty good.
