User ReviewFlorence FI bet this is a brilliant film.I'm giving it 5 stars before I've seen it 'cos I reckon it's a good one
User ReviewCristopher CI always wondered what a shotgun shell would do to a person's head.
User ReviewBarnaby GThis was very slow paced with lots of silences, but it was very well shot and had a great atmosphere to it. Some very uneasy moments as the film progresses culminating in something very nasty. Excellent performances, great film.
User ReviewMichael CA very powerful effort in neorealism follows two illegal Mexican immigrants in Southern California as they deal with discrimination and struggle to find success. A particularly potent climax makes this film one of the best in the school. Problematically, it will only harden the biases of both conservatives and social democrats.
User ReviewAlex FO filme, sobre a rotina de dois mexicanos, mostra de forma impactante a fúria interior de homens comuns quando submetidos a humilhações diárias. Lento na maior parte do tempo e feroz em sua essência.
User ReviewJoe HTwo Mexican laborers who lack control over their own lives seize control of a troubled woman's one evening in this flawed but ultimately powerful film.
User ReviewJuan Pablo ZIncredibly slow moving movie (some static shots last 4 or 5 minutes!!). The dreadful pace leads upto a horrific scene in the final 15 minutes that is truly shocking. I couldn't help but think the writers came up with that scene and how to shoot, then built a movie around it. Still, even though the pace was tiring and seemed like nothing was going on, I found myself interested in the two main characters.
User ReviewBreagan BThis movie is a trainwreck. I sat with my finger on the remote button about to change the channel for the entire movie. I was unable to turn away. It haunted me for days.
