Chicago ReaderLeah PickettCodirectors Timothy Kane and Annika Iltis provide helpful graphics between scenes and provide plenty of context as to why one would choose to push one's body and mind to their breaking points.

User ReviewDavid KMakes me want to run! Really cool, it's amazing how far the human body and mind can go. Even people who aren't professional athletes can complete arguably the hardest race on the planet. Watched on Netflix at home, June 28, 2016.
User ReviewJames LEngaging and entertaining, with so much to admire when it comes to having the will to succeed, inspiring.
User ReviewCarlos DThe most difficult race in the World...take place in the Mountains of Tennessee? It costs $1.60 and only 40 applicants are accepted each year. You run 100ish miles and climb an elevation twice that of Mt Everest within a 60 hour time limit. In 29 years, it has only been completed 16 times. insane
User ReviewJason KA fun and fascinating documentary! On Netflix.
User ReviewSheridan PPhenomenal achievement finishing this. So inspiring!!!!!
User ReviewKen SA rather nutty guy invented an even nuttier marathon race, one that is so difficult to complete that it is very rare that people actually do. This documentary explores the marathon and the people attempting to run it. Apparently hundreds of people apply each year, but only 40 get selected to make the run...very few complete the "Fun Run" which is three 20-26 mile loops in rough terrains of hills and briar patches...and even fewer have completed the race in the 25 years it has been run. If you want to laugh and feel inspired by pure insanity and the endurance will it takes to complete such a crazy marathon? This movie is good fun to be had.
