"The Anarchist's Wife" is the story of Manuela who is left behind when her husband Justo fights for his ideals against Franco's Nationalists during the Spanish Civil War. He is deported to a concentration camp, and upon his release, continues the fight against nationalism in the French resistance. | User ReviewCarlos PPelicula muy recomendable. Al inicio las bombas te mantienen en en tension y luego ves pasar la vida de un anarquista y su familia, en plena pre-, en, y post guerra civil (incluyendo el fin de la Segunda Guerra Mundial). Un hombre que hace de su vida una lucha permanente y una familia que le seguiria hasta la muerte si fuese necesario. Destaca la adoracion/obsesion de su mujer y la fe ciega de su hija... MagnÃ?Âfico contraste entre la dureza de la historia y la admiracion que provoca ver que el amor familiar puede con todo. No apta para epocas sensiblonas, XD |
| User ReviewAnna MNueva historia sobre los vencidos de la Guerra Civil, pero esta vez en cuanto al exilio forzoso y el no-saber que ha pasado con tus sers queridos. Para mi gusto la pelicula se queda un poco en la superficie, en narrar hechos pero sin transmitir las emociones, y Maria Valverde, aunque se desenvuelve bien, es demasiado joven para su papel. Creo que en conjunto le falta un poco de profundidad. |
