Movie ViewsRyan CracknellPart The Graduate, part Fitzcarraldo, The Art of Travel is a tribute to living on the road less traveled. Filmed entirely on location, it offers a more rounded portrayal of culture outside of the standard Hollywood clichés
Reeling ReviewsRobin CliffordThe use of such locales as Bolivia, Nicaragua, Panama and Peru adds to the exotic flavor of the film.
Reeling ReviewsLaura Clifford...director Thomas Whelan embraces the wanderlust spirit in this enjoyable if uneven film, whose qualities often reflect the television background of most of its cast.
Movie EyeFrank OchiengTravel is an ambitious, involving and extensive travelogue that challenges the imagination. [A] feasible fable that allows one to remain contemplative and connected
User ReviewWayne ISure it can be better, but the ending really is just how I wanted it to be! :D
User ReviewMyfanwy BI love the idea of doing this!!! If only I was a few years younger, in better shape, and more wealthy. I love this sort of movie: go through difficulty and find yourself.
User ReviewAmanda HI had never heard of this movie, and to be honest it sounded pretty formulaic and cheesy, but I got so much more than I expected. This really made me think, and there's so much beauty and meaning behind it. This was a very pleasant surprise.
User ReviewNatasha SThis is a great movie! I was so entertained. I watched the Q & A and the filmmakers seemed really passionate about the way it was made and to go out and travel the world.
User ReviewBobby LDelightful and enlightening. I imagine that the horrendous 1st Bite was trying to achieve the kind of same kind of effect, as they both deal with very similar themes in some similar manners, but this one has heart, a main character I really rooted for, and meditations on life and love and the power of human presevarence that make sense. The move also moves at a clip and had me engage within the first 10 minutes in which, during their wedding ceremony, the groom inveils pics, to all the guests, of the bride sleeping with his best man, tjhen he's off around the world.
User ReviewBenjamin DBest choice of a random movie I never heard of.
