User Review - 8/10 by Doctor SEnergetic farce that refuses to sit still, like a dimwitted puppy chasing a darting flashlight beam. Ever-radiant Emmanuelle Béart delights once again in a comic role as successful singer Lucette who can't control her sexual urges when around her favorite fornicator Edouard, who has neglected to tell her that he is getting married imminently. Sparks and tempers fly across a script littered with clever wordplay, and admittedly I only caught a fraction of them since I saw it all in French sans sous-titres. Even with that handicap, there's no missing translation for the outrageous laugh-out-loud sex scenes, or Edouard (Charles Berling) running around his apartment and corridor stark naked for a good five minutes trying to salvage his situation as well as his dignity. Very adult, very French, and very funny.
User Review - 8/10 by Sigrid RSurprisingly funny! Liked the way they mixed some modern stuff into it. Tells a story that was typical in those days, and actually, still is.
User Review - 6/10 by WS WSeen 12.04.07. This French movie is absolutely recommendable, but it is very special. Saw it again 30.11.07.
User Review - 4/10 by Aaron Cthe banter was too disjointed and forced rhyme too rapid & vapid, that coupled with stupid chansons and too many guests, spoil what could have been a fun comedy.
User Review - 2/10 by Chloe Cthe overacting over nothin' pulse the overt sexual overtones (including extramarital and incestuous!) kill it for me. love how Beart looks but that's all.
