User ReviewLarry YHorrible acting, atrocious dubbing, and special effects that makes Luigi Cozzi's earlier STARCRASH look like AVATAR.
User ReviewPeter PWow, this movie may seem bad, but it is actually better then the first one. It has a story that makes a little bit more sense, and the creatures are a little more fluid, and Lou Ferrigno is the constant that makes it work.
User ReviewGreen BEven worse sequel to the Golan/Globus produced 1983 Lou Ferrigno "Hercules" picture. Lou is back as the musclebound half-god, but according to the director, he was hired to do reshoots for "The Seven Magnificent Gladiators" (also staring Mr. Ferrigno) and was then told by producers to write a sequel to "Hercules" around the new footage, but not to tell Ferrigno he was filming a new movie. It unfortunately shows in how disjointed the film feels. A typical episode of "Xena: Warrior Princiess" is far better than this ridiculous movie. However, I will give the film one star for the Pino Donaggio score and for the scene when Hercules and his female companions walk into the mouth of a cave carved like a giant head, which I was excited about for few seconds because I thought it was the same giant stone head from "Zardoz" that spits guns out it mouth and told Sean Connery about body parts.
User ReviewArnaud LThe first one sucked. The second one manage to be even worst...
User ReviewEvan HOur muscle bound hero of the 1983 film returns no doubt due to the tremendous uproar for thousands of fans screaming for a sequel. Of course Iâ??m joking as the 1983 version of Hercules may be the most inept portrayal of the mythical hero of all time. Still its sheer stupidity managed to keep B-movie lovers interested with its unintentional laughter. Sadly this sequel lacks that aspect making it a trying and tedious film experience. Renegade gods steal Zeusâ??s seven mighty thunderbolts and Hercules must gain them back by defeating varies poorly created monsters. Released in some areaâ??s as Hercules II.
