Set against a backdrop of the social, political and spiritual upheaval in 19th century New England, Tell the World, recounts the true story of a diverse group of people, whose lives intertwine as they wrestle with biblical prophecies. They interpret this to mean the imminent return of the Messiah, the Second Advent of Jesus Christ. Their hopes soon turn to despair when Christ does not return on the calculated date.
