BrianOrndorf.comBrian OrndorfIt does make a plucky attempt to replicate the flippy-floppy nature of the fighting elements, creating a limb-snapping effort of escapism surrounded by bland writing and sleepy performances.
Más GamersSebastian Zavala KahnTekken is, at least, the ultimate proof that copying the aesthetics of the videogame for a live action movie doesn't always work. [Full review in Spanish]
QuickflixSimon MiraudoThe fight-sequences -- dreamlike and almost-spiritual in the original game -- are relegated to UFC-style octagons, shot like shaky-cam snuff and soundtracked by Insane Clown Posse-wannabees. It'd be headache inducing if it weren't so damn boring.
User ReviewJonathan Dany martial artist fanatic would want to go c it
User ReviewKieran FTekken is one of the best translations from game to film with the story closely identical to the original game. Story was easy to understand but if you know and played Tekken like me you have an idea, Fight scenes were the best of any video game film to date along side the Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter Legend of Chun-Li and D.O.A Dead or Alive and King of Fighters. Kelly Overton was amazing and hot as hell for my favourite character Christie Montario as was Jin Kazuma casting was perfect with a nice low budget. One of the Best Fighting Video Games movies Yet!
User ReviewArthur Pawsome awsome awsome AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This movie is AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
User ReviewKaylin HA lot better than I expected this to be. I would recommend watching it if you were a fan of the game or anime.
User ReviewJustin TIt seems to be a loose interpretation of the video game but it was enjoyable. It was better than most video game (fighting) movies.
User ReviewRecaldo Nif u havent seen diz den i suggest u watch it, especially if ur into martial arts movies.....it waz sooooo Good
User ReviewJune MThis was a good movie! I played the game so that made it very fun to watch. The fun part was seeing all the players come to life, since I enjoyed the game so much! Players like Eddie Gordo and Yoshimitsu really fought like they did in the game. It would have been scary if Yochimitsu did some of the more adanced moves that he did in the game.
