Full Plot Details
On the eve of the opening night of Lysistrati (1972), Hélène, an ambitious young actress, finds herself torn between her passion for a charming fellow actor and Dominique, the gay director of the play. Pivoting around the Platonic theories, the Greek filmmaker, Dimitris Kollatos, explores the various forms of love, describing a close-knit circle of artists where the concepts of man, woman, relationship, love, and sex become inextricably intertwined. With this in mind, the mortal heroes succumb to desire, trying to interpret ambiguous romantic situations and the functional independence of love, lust, and sex.
