EmanuelLevy.ComEmanuel LevyA peculiar, rather audacious gender-bender tale, with Katharine Hepburn as a man for most of the film, keeping Cary Grant (and us) on his toes.
Ozus' World Movie ReviewsDennis SchwartzGrant gives one of his most energetic and best film performances ever.
Combustible CelluloidJeffrey M. AndersonCukor handles these bizarre plot turns with consummate grace.
User ReviewWill MI don't understand the negative comments. This is a very complicated, fascinating movie.
User ReviewMaggie F~~~CARY GRANT~~~ ~~THAT'S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW!!~~~
User ReviewRuth LKatharine Hepburn and Cary Grant's first film together. And it's a great one. A flop in its time (probably for being both a bit off beat, and controversial) it became a cult classic in later years, and it really shows Hepburn and Grant at the finest, and in the hands of one of old Hollywood's most underrated directors, George Cukor. It's a bit quirky, and some how feels slightly awkward in it's execution. But a thoroughly enjoyable movie none the less.
User ReviewJosè MIn single words:Hepburn,Katharine Hepburn.Check it.
User ReviewLizzie TA rare find and one of the greatest Hepburn movies. A delightful comedy from George Cukor.
User ReviewChrisanne SUniquely controversial for the 30's but Hepburn does a spectacular job at imitating a boy-- I totally forgot until she revealed her disguise.
User ReviewAlessandra CIncantevole e tenero, con una grande Katherine Hepburn giovanissima, en travesti per buona parte del film
