OregonianJeff BakerThe story is a familiar one, the vintage clips are great, and if you like Alice Cooper, you'll love it.
Spectrum CulturePat PaduaThe familiar arc is fueled by a potent theme that drove the persona that made him a millionaire: Good vs. Evil. If only the movie were as potent as that theme.
VarietyDennis HarveyThis enjoyable ride should appeal to Alice Cooper's original fans, as well as those who came to him via the performers he influenced.
ScotsmanSiobhan SynnotCooper proves a genial, voluble rock idol, even if he does admit to swapping sex and drugs for golf.

User ReviewRob AWhat an excellent biography/story of the persona of Alice Cooper, it was wonderful to see the real story of Alice .. and the person Vincent who has come so far, what an incredible Journey to Home.
User ReviewKerr LGotta give it 5 stars just cuz it's Alice. And there was plenty of footage I had never seen, and great stories. It says there's animation in it but it's really just playing with the pictures, which does look cool and almost 3-Dimensional. And of course the music is amazing. The only weird thing is that we never get to see who's speaking. Instead they tell the story they are narrating with pictures... And I'd kinda like to see the people talking, at least some of the time.
User ReviewChris GWhile informative and telling to a point that would please any huge fan, the way that the documentary flows and designs is truly brilliant.
User ReviewLucas DBeing simultaneously entertaining, concisely instructive and smartly innovative of the documentary form, it succeeds in not only telling us Alice's wild History, but also conveying it to us.
User ReviewMark HGreat archival photos and film clips; good narration and interviews; would have liked a bit more depth....more since the mid-80's - Alice's golf, solid rock foundation, conversion to Christianity, etc. For those who know the story, not a lot new here. Loved it....wanted more.
