State of Bacon tells the kinda real but mostly fake tale of an oddball group of characters leading up to the annual Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival. Bacon-enthusiasts, Governor Branstad, a bacon queen, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, members of PETA, and an envoy of Icelanders are not excluded from this bacon party and during the course of the film become intertwined with the organizers of the festival to show that bacon diplomacy is not dead.... | User ReviewBrigitte BA mockumentary which is about All Things Bacon. This movie takes you into the Iowa Bacon Festival where you see what actually happens there. It is one of the best Mockumentary I have ever seen. This movie includes a pack of Icelanders, Kid Journalists, an interesting humorous talk about Bacon and lots and lots of bacon. This is a must see Mockumentary because this movie has been so well produced to make it enjoyable to the viewer. Not like one of those movies with a boring Narrator. And as we all say OHHHHH... Bacon. I will definitely watch it again. |
