User ReviewPrivate UGreat title. The movie was funny. It's like a bigfoot monster but in the snow, so it's like a frozen foot monster.
User ReviewChristopher BMuch like the Schmuker's jelly ad where they say, "With a name like Schmuker's, you know it's gonna be good", the same logic applies to Shriek of the Mutilated. You just know it's gotta be good, and you're right on the money holmes. A group of students gather in the wilderness with a professor and (and I quote) his Indian, Laughing Crow (played by an Italian actor straight out of the Sopranos) to have an encounter with Bigfoot. Wonderful, mind-boggling stupidity ensues until the glorious reveal at the end that I would never dream of ruining for any potential viewers. This one is right up there with Demon Lover (AKA Coven) in the so awful it's amazing category in low budget, seventies American horror.
User ReviewAndrew CSo incredibly terrible that it's hilarious.
User ReviewPamela DThis is the worst movie ever but in some ways the best. It contains a theme song entitled "Love Shriek".
User Reviewmike pOne of those sooo bad its good films. The acting is purly amature, the dialogue is totaly hammy and the Yeti suit is about as convincing as South Parks Mr. Garrison as a woman. But i was entertained to the fullest. Pure Drive-in fun!
User ReviewBlake RA pretty strange movie all around. This is about a group of college studesnts who accompany a college professor on a remote island to search for a 'Yeti', (really, shouldn't it be a sasquatch?) and of course, are totally unprepared for when they DO meet the darned creature. Somewhat wonky dialogue, bad editing, and somewhat clumsy Manosish acting all around. What I totally remember about this one when I saw this years ago is the ending, like "Whoa, what's that all about?" It somewhat makes this film a little more interesting, but not by much.
User ReviewMichael WProfessor leads students in expedition to track elusive Yeti. Despite losing two students, professor forges ahead using the dead bodies as bait. A dreadful conclusion which unfortunately fails to unlock the mystery of the Yeti.
User ReviewReverendd Dr. T LocoDreadful little thing. But the final line is priceless.
User ReviewShawn WLooking for Bigfoot? This may be as close to the truth as you will find. The acting is terrible, but what do you expect from a low budjet movie from the 70s. And speaking of the 70s, the clothing and hair are so 70s, what a flashback. I won't spoil the movie (as if that is possible) by telling how it ends. Look for suprizes. Another Halloween night movie. :-)
User ReviewC MA bizarre Yeti movie so bad it's good. No yeti's were harmed in the making of this film...
