However, once more, heavy, shark-ridden storm clouds gather in the sky, setting the stage for yet another blood-drenched disaster in the making. Movie Reviews

Eclipse Magazine - 9/10 by Michelle AlexandriaSharknado 2: The Second One is the same as the first and that's all fans of the series should want and expect. It delivers bite!
Los Angeles Times - 8/10 by Robert LloydRidiculousness. Super-ridiculousness. Mega-ridiculousness. Meta-ridiculousness. Love. Fireworks.
New York Times - 8/10 by Neil GenzlingerUnfortunately, the movie doesn't really do anything truly memorable with all these [guest stars], as if just getting these actors to show up were enough. That's largely true of the sharks as well.
Variety - 8/10 by Brian LowryAside from a few clever moments, the creatives haven't managed to bridge the gap between blood-spurting exploitation and winking genre parody.
HitFix - 7/10 by Dan Fienberg"Sharknado" was far from the most amateurish of the Syfy originals, but it had a "Let's put on a show" roughness. "Sharknado 2" at times threatens to look like a real movie.
Paste Magazine - 7/10 by Jim VorelFor the most part, it's a serviceable sequel that tackles a difficult task as best it can by making a film that is several levels more absurd than the first.
EntertainmentTell - 7/10 by Bill Gibron(While)it will never survive under serious scrutiny, the fact that Sharknado 2: The Second One succeeds just proves that there's no stopping a satisfyingly stinky slice of cinematic cheese.
Winnipeg Free Press - 6/10 by Brad OswaldSimply put, it's one of those TV movies that's so unapologetically bad that it is, in its own unique way, also pretty great.
Sydney Morning Herald - 6/10 by Sarah ThomasThe creators of last year's surprise cult hit repeat the magic of their first outing.
Washington Post - 4/10 by Hank StueverAs hard as we howled at the ghastliness being projected on the wall above us, I didn't see anyone at the Sharknado party who was giving the film his or her full attention, especially after the first 30 minutes.
