User Reviewwretch aI didnt want to rent this movie. I saw the cover and thought great the reaping rip off. The back didnt have much info but I said fuck it and rented it. I am sooooooo glad that I did! This actually is a really good story, the monster thing is great and the way they take over the body is brutal to say the least. GREAT! My fav part had to be the mall scene when the dude gets punched. awesome gore.
User ReviewMarlie NRating - C Not bad, actually. I like the approach of a kick-ass church group that, while absent, were pretty darn cool, thanks very much. While ther filming was off and the acting wasn't really grade-A, the actors grew on you throughout the movie. And that girl was kind of cute - especially when she was acting tossed. All in all, a decent movie to kick back to, as long as you arn't expecting top of the line special effects. The only thing that made it C instead of B? The ending. Hey, it's cool, make an entrance to a sequal, fine. But no need to make it so desperate, cheap, and obvious. If I wanted that, I'd head to the bar.
User ReviewAlan CThis has been done so many times before, and so much better.
User ReviewDoug FHard to judge the movie when I know the director (and have him on Facebook) but what the hell. Scourge isn't a bad b-film. Sure the acting isn't great, but at least it delivers what its premise promises. And it's fun to see the different ways the movie gets around its budget constraints and actually make it look pretty decent.
User ReviewAdam HOne of the better low budget creature features I've seen in a while. The effects of the creature wasn't good, and the way it went from person to person was really stupid. But it was an enjoyable film.
User ReviewNoah LNot half bad for a direct to DVD horror flick. Had me thinking of Splinter or The Thing, just not as good of a film but it'd be fun on a Friday night with some beers to laugh at it's both intentional and unintentional funny moments.
User ReviewFloyd CThis isnt as half bad as reports would have you to believe, however having sat through the likes of Knock Knock recently, anything, literally ANYTHING would look rose tinted by comparison. Standard beastie flick that sees the bugger do the standard pop out of one person into another after first making belching noises (Dreamcatcher anyone?) with little or no explanation as to why it even exists. Completely stupid but then you need to watch stuff like that from time to time.
User ReviewEmily SOh it was a very bad movie was not that good at all why I watch things like this i'll never no
User ReviewPatricia CStory is too boring~ Only ugly animal i can see~
User ReviewShannon PThe set up for this movie was awesome, unfortunately it just didn't go anywhere aside from the lame gore that accompanied.
