Eye for FilmJennie KermodeEverybody involved in this is clearly having a good time, which - if you don't object too strongly to rubbish special effects, weak performances and a desperately stretched budget - makes it very easy to like.

User ReviewEmma BThis is a creature feature of great quality, and you'll just love it! High-quality B-movie: how often does that happen? But it has sharks, sea, beaches, kids, cops, the usual. Just with a twist.
User ReviewMark PFrom the so bad it's good genre. Seriously had a dumb grin on throughout. Well worth watching.
User ReviewPetar SThis is a B movie that I would only recommend to you if you like predictable B movies. Sand Sharks was a only alright film. GRADE:B-
User ReviewLuis Cso bad, that it's so good! couldn't stop watching
User ReviewWes SIt's about as typical and cliche as any other of the low-budget tv monster movies, but this one is self-aware and rather fun. The characters are bad, and they try to be bad. The plot is crazy, and full of Jaws-spoof moments. Most importantly, the sharks are interesting and unique. Overall, the movie knows what it is, and it does it right.
User Reviewjen bThis movie wasn't good but I had a blast watching it.
User ReviewJohn DIt is moronic. It has sharks that "swim" in the sand. On the other hand; hey, it has sharks that swim in the sand. Movies have been based on lesser ideas, truly they have. I actually prefer this to the Piranha 3D.
User ReviewBLACTACULAR .65% "I've never seen a shark swim in the sand."-Sandy Powers (Brooke Hogan) That's as far as intelligence goes, in this flick. The CGI and reactions from the actors were horrible. Parker Lewis can't save this beach. "You're gonna need a bigger beach, Angus."-Shriff John Stone (Eric Scott Woods) Do you know how many film makers, Speilberg could sue?
