Leave your thoughts about Rogue City.
The New York TimesElisabeth VincentelliViolent, law-defying cops would be a tough sell at any time, but “Rogue City” is oblivious to the changed context surrounding their stories. They don’t hold much romantic allure nowadays.
Movie NationRoger MooreWriter-director Marchal loses track of characters, story threads, mob cash and drugs, impatient as he is to get to the next shoot out.
User ReviewN_ck-czRaw and special! Olivier Marchal did it again. After 36 Quai des Orfevres, MR.73 or Les Lyonnais, he made another piece of French jewelry. An unpredictable story leaves the viewer in uncertainty. Very well made and brilliant piece of filmmaking. I am really glad, that movie like this still exists. Plot have classic Marschal signature: Members of a special unit with advancing parts delve deeper and deeper into problems that pile on top of each other.
User Reviewrisonyeongquite good production and on par with any Hollywood film, without the unnecessary vulgar words. common good bad cops plot but this show makes it convoluted enough to be interesting. direction and cinematography very credible and of course a few good looking leads did not disappoint. no spoiler in my review this time. just give it a shot. French and spain are catching up fast.
User ReviewJLuis_001Ill-fated french film that considers it smart that violence is an acceptable exchange for the lack of a more proactive and engaging story, and it fails miserably
