Robin Hood and his pack spoil the plans of the farmer João Climério to take possession of the lands of the absent brother. During a showdown, Robin is injured and needs to be replaced at the helm of the group. He is chosen Zé Grilo (Renato Aragão), modest and confused pawn, that in the end unmasks Climério and saves the beautiful Catherine, for which he is in love.
