User ReviewErica OI was good move is powerful and dingerris and defend and stinge and pian and loded
User ReviewBrett WA masterpiece of space-action diarrhea, "I Recon 2525" is a worthy follower in the footsteps of such classic crap as "Space Mutiny"...and some other ones I don't care to remember. Imagine Battlestar Galactica except with porn stars and cheesy graphics. Or kind of like an alternate reality where Uwe Boll swapped places with James Cameron and directed Aliens. A must see, I say! Smoke a big bowl of space-hash and go to Jupiter and beyond (to the edge of the crapiverse!) This must be what they mean when the U.S. Army lists "film and television" opportunities on job classified websites.
User ReviewJustin BCheesy, campy military sci-fi. The dialogue and acting are even sub-B Movie! But hey, what else are struggling actors going to do with army surplus and abandoned industrial complexes?
User ReviewAaron SImproves on the first movie in almost every imaginable way (from acting to writing to effects). It's still not a good movie, but you have to give them props for learning a lot from the first one.
User ReviewOlivier BIf you just take out the swearing and the brief nudity, this could have been an episode of Captain Power. It was definitely shot for the small screen and not the big screen. Just felt cramped to watch. And why does everyone speak with a slight Montreal accent? Oh right, that's where it was made. If given a bit more investment in production values, like acting and directing, then it would have been much better. The effects were passable.
User ReviewJulie GHaving seen so many low quality movies lately, this was refreshingly different. Part video game in appearance and comic book in plot, I actually wanted to see the first one and the third one alluded to after the end credits. Deke Richards was pretty funny for his one-liners too.
User ReviewGustavo RWhere Recon 2020 was "B" scifi fun in all its terribleness, this sequel is just plain terrible. On the plus, it was nice that they actually took a few minutes of effort to at least try and make the locations look like the other worlds they are supposed to be, but on the flipside damn near everything else was worse. Not a very enjoyable way to spend 96 minutes.
User ReviewMike LGratuitous booby shots couldn't save this movie.
