More than his computer programs and MAC stores he thinks of Alisha. Who is Abhay? Abhay is a nerdy, awkward, socially challenged, bespectacled geek of the college who is so far removed from her world that she doesn't even know that people like him actually exist. This is a love story of impossible proportions, how can a man like Abhay ever hope to be with a woman like Alisha, and therein lies the story - Abhay has quietly loved Alisha all his life. One day he musters up enough courage to go and express his true feelings to her and realizes that it is never gonna happen. He comes to terms with the fact that Alisha is a Princess and he is just a Geek. That is when their ways eventually part. Later, their paths cross again, as Abhay is busy trying to launch his career. Fate again brings him face to face with the woman of his dreams, Alisha. Will Abhay have the strength to believe in himself and attempt to achieve what he never thought possible? Will Alisha ever be able to see the man behind those glasses, beyond what her idea of the perfect man is? Is everything fate or can one take destiny in their own hands? Is this possible or just PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE?

| User ReviewWilliam OThis is an amazing movie, I mean I am only halfway through watching it and it started out kind of dull and boring but has gotten pretty funny and good. If the ending if written half as well as the first half it is a great movie, well thats it for the pros. Cons and suggestions for bluray features: Im a bit of a slow reader so I have to be quick firing on the pause button a nice bluray feature would be a slow reader mode where it does not move ahead on anything spoken not in english or your chosen language until you press a button to tell it you finished reading. Also at first I found the transitions a bit more complicating than a normal foreign movie, where not everything needs to be read and its a bit hard to tell when you need to pause and read and when you dont cuz the accents are so strong when spoken in english, it takes a sec to realize its not foreign language being spoken.. Once you get used to that its a little better and a lot more nicer to not have to pause and read every single subtitle I hope they consider that feature in bluray release since it would be so easy to incorporate and it could jump ahead a few frames and skip to the end of displayed text so you dont then have to wait on the ones that display longer and really that makes little sense sometimes they jump off the screen at a fast rate when they are at least two long lines and other times they stay on the screen almost longer enough to read, it would make more sense to me if it was one or two word ones going by that fast but whole paragraphs almost thats insane, can anyone out there really read that fast. |

| User ReviewAmena MA geek falls in love with a beauty--you have an idea what the story is going to be, but it has been presented really well. A Yash Raj production, the movie is a pleasure to watch. Priyanka is excellent as always. Dino was also good. The surprise package was Uday Chopra, who gave quite a convincing performance. I initially didn't think he would be able to pull it off. Great direction and catchy, foot-tapping music just add to the film. Not to be taken seriously, the movie's a fun watch. |
