Ozus' World Movie ReviewsDennis SchwartzThose who consider themselves to be seekers of the truth, unafraid of trying new methods to reach the truth, should find this film intriguing.
VarietyDerek ElleyMarred by an uninvolving, foggy script that aims to tackle other issues, including postwar loss of faith and hope, and by some eccentric characterizations, notably by Ben Kingsley.
Radio TimesJohn FergusonIt's imaginatively shot and features some nifty special effects.
Time OutDerek AdamsA fresh, rewarding film, intelligent and very beautiful.
User ReviewJ KProof that true love can break through anything, even time. Isn't that we're all looking for? How many of us wouldn't like the opportunity to go back in time to a moment where we made a mistake or let go?
User ReviewFanGirl BThis was an amazing movie!!! Makes my top 10 list of all time. Beautiful and haunting...with an intense and wildly unhollywood ending.
User ReviewLynda MBrilliant premise, beautifully filmed. The cast is perfectly suited to telling this timeless story of natural faith and wonder. Ben Kingsley is wonderfully dark in his portrayal of a local priest, Reverend Templeton, who condemns that which he cannot -- or will not? -- understand. To say more will spoil the rich delights awaiting all who view this treasure.
User ReviewHannah BI loved this film, it was so terribly sad but happy in a way. The storyline was fantastic and is suitable for all ages, it's a family filled fun film for everyone and it is definitely in my faves list! Truly worth watching!
User ReviewDamian FAbsolutely stunning, haunting, magical movie. Why it's so little known is beyond me. Go see it!!!!
User ReviewMarmoto JSlightly based on a true story regarding some pics of "fairies" related to Arthur Conan Doyle, this is a mystic and personal, intimate travel to faith. Not religious faith, as the film clearly states (you just have to see what the "father" does), but faith through something we all should have, PROOFS. Great soundtrack too.
