| User ReviewPaul D19. Operation Golden Pheonix â?? Directed Produced and Starring Jalah Merhi. This movie was hilariously bad with really bad editing and direction. The dialogue was corny and cliché and the fights scenes were ok but with the editing being so atrocious it was jarring to watch. Loren Avedon and James Hong are hilarious but I felt that they were over directed and usually put in better performances. This was Jalah Merhiâ??s directorial debut and was interesting to watch but hilariously bad. The weird thing is that deleted and extended scenes were shown while the credits rolled. It still didnâ??t help but was something Iâ??ve never really seen done like that before. Best part is when he miraculousy goes through the pole in the dam fight scene. *On a side note why do some VHS tapes have the weird white screen with a beeping noise at the end of the tape? |
