Leave your thoughts about One Million Years B.C..
Antagony & EcstasyTim BraytonSome of the very finest dopey schlock ever put onscreen.
Monthly Film BulletinMFB CriticsVery easy to dismiss the film as a silly spectacle; but Hammer production finesse is much in evidence and Don Chaffey has done a competent job of direction. And it is all hugely enjoyable.
Cleveland PressTony MastroianniEvery time One Million Years B. C. lags, which is frequently, a prehistoric animal appears.
Greenwich Village GazetteEric LurioDelightfully cheezy, Raquel Welch is wonderful to look at
User ReviewMat KRaquel Welsh's amazing rack barely contained by a cave girl costume....and no dialogue, awesome
User ReviewTheo GThis is one good primal movie from the sixties. Its realistic, the dinosaurs are cool like always ( even though they aren't really close to living ones), and the most beautiful woman ever is the star! Raquel Welch!
User ReviewFrog BOut of all of Ray Harryhausen's films, I think this is one situation where his work as a stop-motion artist actually takes a back seat to the cast members. Well one cast member to be exact. This person is of course none other than Raquel Welch. Who could possibly forget this timeless image of her, wearing an animal skin bikini, with her long blond hair flowing in the wind as she gazes wondrously into the distance. You don't even have to have seen this movie in order for the image to be embedded into your subconscious. Speaking of which, Raquel is almost 70 years of age, clearly old enough to be my Grandmother and she could just as easily wear that animal skin bikini now as could back then. That must be some kind of surgeon.
User ReviewJustin KToo much dialogue, not enough prancing around. What were those ape things in the cave filled with trees and water?
