User Reviewclaire fi loved this as a kid and i still love it to this day
User ReviewPete LAlong with Werner Herzog's "Even Dwarfs Started Small", the strangest thing that I've ever seen on film. If anyone can tell me what the hell happened I'd be really grateful. Absolutely amazing. All films should be like this.
User ReviewLee ?Remake of the 1983 movie "Mutant" by the same director. Quite surprising that Niko Mastorakis decided to remake his original version just 5 years after it was released, but it ended up being a worthwhile effort as it turned out very good! It's more violent and action-packed, whereas the original started off slowly with more suspense and atmosphere. Well worth watching if you enjoy the likes of "The Crazies" and "Nightmare City" or other films where people commit random acts of violence.
User ReviewPhil SAwesome action, a bunch of f bombs, great movie to watch drunk or with a bunch of friends
User ReviewJesse RAlthough a decent B-C grade movie cast in Wings Hauser, Bo Hopkins, George Kennedy & Brion James as an albino in the ice cream suit Nightmare @ Noon can't sustain itself for its full duration. Starts up really fun as the infection begins w/ old man going off the deep end & is almost like a rabid terminator on crack but after about a half an hour the steam is let out of this led balloon & it sorta sinks. Not crashing into the ground taking casualties along w/ it but all the fun is in the first reel. Needlessly padding in the end w/ a helicopter chase & could have been replaced w/ more infected mayhem..& Im sure @ a fraction of the cost
User ReviewBen SIt's worth it to see Wings Hauser get choked out in the first fifteen minutes.
User ReviewDC FPretty bad. I remember sort of liking it when it came out, but I was 12 and didn't know better. It was made to be taken seriously, yet has a child-like plot and a hokey show-down at the end. Buy this crap for a dollar to have around when friends want to make fun of a bad, bad movie.

User ReviewMichael KA film so bad that the entire plot is set out on the back of the box - but still has one of the best pointless helicopter chases of all time. If you want to watch a film that makes no sense, has plot holes as big as your arm and dialogue that is so wooden it is unbelievable; you could do a lot worse
User ReviewTim SWhen you talk about remakes, lots of different films come to mind as examples, but one that will now come to my mind more prominently than before will be Nightmare at Noon, which is a remake of the film Mutant by the same director. This awful movie feels like a clone of The Crazies and a pre-cursor to 28 Days Later. Not that those comparisons are justified, mind you, but they popped up in my mind now and again. The film seems to have been stitched together with good intentions, but ultimately, with bad results. The acting, the cinematography (I'm thinking it was shot open matte because I noticed the camera's top visor in shot a couple of times), and not to mention the unnecessary use of helicopter duel footage, the movie is pretty bad. One redeeming thing though is that the crew at Rifftrax did a hilarious take on it. Otherwise, not good.
