7M PicturesKevin CarrThe characters are not well-constructed at all, and the movie hinges on a twist that cheats the viewer and ultimately doesn't make a lot of sense.
User ReviewSheri DA pretty good movie with alot of suspense and a really good story line, which makes alot more sense at the end.
User ReviewCarlton RTiffany is fantastic, its a really good , better than you would expect from a tv movie, the song at the end of the film is really good too, but i cant find who sung it
User ReviewBenjamin JJames Kyson Lee gives a good performance, and Danielle De Luca is okay. Some moments of suspense, but most of the time you are waiting for things to happen, and a few of the other performances are up and down. Something to watch late at night on cable if nothing else was on.
User ReviewAk Ka nice little surprise. I liked this horror movie even though it wouldn't have hurt if it had been a little longer. nice script and some nice preformances from a few of the actors.
User ReviewZachary GA group of friends head for a mountain-top cabin (which, by the way, is nicer than most everyday houses...not exactly rustic). Unfortunately they are also in the area of the historically ill-fated Donner Party whose ghosts didn't make nearly enough appearances given the exceptional makeup they wore. Paranoia, possession, guns, snow, generator on the blink and a ridiculous ending. Still, quite watchable. The biggest disappointment for me was that the writer of this film didn't take the time to read the archaeological updates from the last few years in which the cannibalism aspect of the Donner Party has been disproved.
User ReviewAmanda HI actually am not sure why I found this even remotely interesting, because it shouldn't be. But in some nonsensical, inexplicable way, it's actually kind of... not bad. I hate to say it's good, because that might be praising it a little too much. But if you're into super cheesy, low-budget quasi-horror, you might enjoy this.
User ReviewEdward KI think people are too hard on indie horror films. Sometimes the acting wasn't all that great, and no, the effects weren't super CGI mega awesome OMG, but it kept me watching, and it wasn't THAT bad. As a Psychology student, I also loved that they actually did their research on Schizophrenia instead of mistaking it for 'multiple personality disorder' or anything like that. Given, this would be a SEVERE case, but still. They bothered to look at the actual disorder....a lot of high budget movies don't even do that.
User ReviewJenn TNot horrible, but a little blair witchy for me.
User ReviewJason DIn Necrosis, sex friends arrive at a lone cabin way up in the wintery mountains where the infamous Donner Party went loco and started eating each other. Before you can say ghostly hallucinations, ghostly hallucinations start appearing and creeping out some of the friends, specifically James Kyson Lee (from Heroes) who starts going a little crazy and isolating himself from the rest of the group, which also includes one-hit-wonder 80's pop singer Tiffany (in a pointless role). Two friends leave to go help and never come back, so Lee goes nuts and attempts to start killing everyone and boom, the movie ends. What started out as a neat concept quickly became dull and boring, until it starts gaining momentum and then abruptly ends. There's little ghostly action, little special effects, and some disappointing acting (though I will say Kee tries his best given the poor material), which made this movie an overall stinker. What's worse, the film features the awesome Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes, Devil's Rejects) as a local yokel, but his talents are wasted in this film as well. I've certainly seen some god awful crap this year (like Dead Tone, The Caretaker, and others) and while this may not be as bad as those, Necrosis is still the pits! Big disappointment.
