Esta es la historia de Nahid, una mujer separada llena de deudas, con un ex-marido drogadicto y apostador y un hijo preadolescente problemático, que decide casarse con un hombre viudo para tener algo de estabilidad económica, pese a que si se sabe sobre su matrimonio, perderá la custodia de su hijo. En esta cinta el drama de esta mujer se plantea en un territorio gris: Nahid no sabe administrar su dinero, aunque ama a su nuevo marido, le miente constantemente y desea su independencia aunque también le gustan las comodidades. Este atributo de "Nahid" hace del relato algo más humano y aunque existe una denuncia sobre el machismo en la cultura iraní, va más allá para envolvernos en un relato doméstico universal muy bien dirigido y actuado. |
