DVD ClinicScott WeinbergShapeless and redundant, this flick is exactly the sort of movie you'd envision if I said "mildly retarded yet physically gorgeous young romance."
User ReviewMelissa BIt makes you want to love someone with Asperger's syndrome.
User ReviewDustin SWow, I was really surprised by this. Yes the two main characters have asperger's, however it's not a gimmick to make the movie interesting. The autism just adds flavor to an otherwise universally powerful story. Really good.
User ReviewJuhi RMostly light-hearted, but packs a huge punch. Hartnett is very believable - I often find that actors, especially mainstream ones, deliver a good performance, though not a seamless one. Mitchell and Hartnett are great together - I really appreciated the feel this film gave to the condition of Asperger's. It's full of interesting characters, and although it has a rather touch-and-go plot, I felt this reflected the turmoil of the characters. All in all, and inspiring and feel-good film, with as much humour as it has depth and meaning.
User ReviewDrew BA must see for all with Aspergers Syndrome, like myself.

User ReviewStephen Rseriously, you people who think this movie is an insult to people with autism havent even watched it so shut up.
User ReviewAnthony JMy brother has Aspergers Syndrom, he also from the city where this movie is set. (Spokane) Great movie.
User ReviewDidem KA simple story of two people trying to find companionship, happiness and love in a confusing world. The fact that these two inspiring and very real characters have Asperger's Syndrome is not really important, but the fact like so many of us they struggle to connect with a soul mate and maintain a relationship, is. From what Aspies tell me, the performances of both leads, Hartnett and Mitchell, are spot on... a real credit to both actors and it's obvious they researched their roles thoroughly. Both entertaining and thought provoking, it's a romance without being gushing, but one where you genuinely care for the people involved.
