Washington PostHal HinsonThousands of actors have played Lucifer, but none has ever given him this particular charismatic brand of idiosyncratic loopiness.
New York TimesCaryn JamesMr. Goldblum, Ms. Baker and Mr. Bates (in a relatively small role) all seem professional, restrained and uncomfortable, which is at least a tribute to their good sense.

User ReviewJack KA more subtle and psychological thriller, Jeff Goldblum is a very suitable fit for this depiction of the devil. Unfortunately not available to date in the US on dvd.
User ReviewAaron LAwesome Goldblum sleeper! Who is the devil, really, and what does he want? Would you believe it if he told you? Excellent!

User ReviewLeslie MOk, they obviously didn't have a big budget...but Goldblum makes it all worthwhile. If you like him....or enjoy supernatural and dark movies try this!!! Done more like a Hitchcock. The horror is mostly implied and psychological, and therefore a disappointment to the slasher movie fans...but it does give you chills sometimes. Someone suggested they should remake it. I am definitely for that...but as it is, it still makes it into my top list.
User ReviewLilian WQuirky and compelling movie - early Goldblum but he hasn't changed a bit
