New York TimesJeannette CatsoulisTechnically innovative but narratively moribund, Metropia is all stasis and shadows. Perhaps Mr. Saleh could have listened to a lighter voice.
sbs.com.auSimon FosterMetropia treads a well-worn Orwellian path (see: Brazil, 1985) but Tarik Saleh's debut compensates for the lack of narrative invention with stunning visuals.

User ReviewDouglas VAnimation - Excellent The movie has the voice of Juliette Lewis (Juice) But the storyline is a little bit boring ... but I liked it
User ReviewNick PFantastic! If your measure of a movie is your typical Hollywood fare, then you probably won't like this. But if you willing to go out on a limb and try something a bit different you might just like this. The story is not run of the mill, and the animation style is unlike any I've seen so far. Set in a distopian future Europe, Roger starts hearing voices in his head. Except that it really is someone else, not him going crazy. Then he meets Nina (the girl on his shampoo bottle) who promises to get ride of the voices, permanently.
