Full Plot Details

Methodic tells the story of a boy who becomes demonically possessed by an ominous presence known as "The Dollman". Forced to obey his dark half, the boy ultimately murders his parents on his birthday and is sentenced to a life under a microscope at the state mental hospital. But evil cannot be contained so easily. User Review - 10/10 by Debbie DIt's a well documented fact that director Director Chris R. Notarile originally wrote this script as an installment of the "Halloween" franchise. When he lost that to Rob Zombie, he adapted it into "Methodic" and I'm glad he did! I love this movie! There are some similar themes to "Halloween", but in the last third of this movie it there's a bit of a twist that takes it in another direction and that's where it really becomes it's own original story. The acting is great and the plot point of "The Dollman" being kind of a virus that can infect anyone is fantastic! This is explored more in the short film sequel "Methodic 1.5". This is also the worlds first basher movie!

User Review - 8/10 by Jeremy DAre you tired of seeing Hollywood films that just don't impress you? Do you want to see a genuine horror film that will excite you? Then watch this movie, because it is amazing. Chris R. Notarile brings a new level of horror to the screen, making the world's first 'basher' film. If you are looking for anything that isn't Hollywood-made, then definately go to Blockbuster or Netflix or even Redbox and rent this, because it is fantastic. Rating: 4/5.
User Review - 6/10 by Deb KMovie is Very similar to the first Halloween. While you can tell its a low-budget film, its not overall a bad movie. About a boy who becomes possessed by a spirit called the Dollman, and kills his family and those around him while possessed by this spirit. . The spirit stayed with him for most of his life. After 20 years the spirit leaves his body and people don't believe his story. Not really a "scary" film. But kept my interest. The paced moved along very well.
