USA TodaySteve JonesMarked For Death offers a very proficient range of bang-and-break antics ending with a neat twist.
IGNR. L. ShafferThe film does manage to provide some fresh thematic punches (and gobs of female nudity for the teen male demographic), and it's clear why Seagal was a popular action star. If only the film was a little flashier, a little edgier and a little more original. Still, it's one of Steven Seagal's finest, if that's saying anything.
Miami HeraldJuan Carlos CotoThis dim-witted revenge yarn is the simplest of showcases for Steven Seagal - an extremely compelling action presence with his brutal martial arts fighting style, imposing size and nasty demeanor.
Washington PostRichard HarringtonBetween the gang's patois and Seagal's soft speaking, Marked for Death almost begs for subtitles; the breaking of bones, however, comes through loud and clear.
The New York TimesJanet MaslinAs directed by Dwight H. Little, Marked for Death lacks much visual interest or suspense.
The Seattle TimesMichael UpchurchMarked for Death is, even by the xenophobic standards of the recent action genre, uncommonly racist and misogynistic.
User Reviewmohamed hthe final fight against screwface is epic. The backbreaker is amazing (if you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about)
User ReviewEmpress Maleka Eyet again another top quality piece of over the top violence, back in the day when political correctness never existed comes 90 minutes of brutal violent death! And a cameo from the amazing masters of reality to boot this is one of the greatest movies of the 1990's.
User ReviewSandra AHe may be marked for death but, he is one hard to kill.
User ReviewRyan CThe third installment in the quadrilogy featuring Steven Seagal, and my second favorite one. It's about John Hatcher and how his family was attacked by a Jamaican gang known as the posse. After they are he hunts them down one by one. It's a GREAT Seagal movie and one of the best action movies ever. Action packed and highly explosive. Definitely a must see for action lovers.
