User ReviewDaniel WExcellent, the beautiful, fantastic François is wonderfully convincing in his role, he has come a long way from selling his (big, lovely) bottom. This story is true and exciting, watching paint dry would be of far less interesting. The actors are believable and captivating, while Sagat sits around and poses as the director intended him to. I don't think anyone could love him more than the audience does. This is a fully realised opportunity, and I will remember this film and its talented actor's performances for the rest of my life.
User Reviewross jI went to this film contest & the director of this film came to explain that he wanted to explore a new way of making films, low budget, faster to produce & still accessible to the mainstream audience! The film isn't a masterpiece, far from it! Lots of people actually left the screening room before it was over. The subject is a different from the the usual archetypes, we follow a young 'Hustler' separating from his boyfriend, and going through a series of sexual encounters with young lads from the burbs! It's raw, straight forward, disturbing at times, experimental, funny & cheesy . The main actor, a former gay porn star is very charismatic & holds the film on his sholders. A weird object of 'art'? An ode to the male body? A look at what masculinity means nowodays? Hard to say... One thing is sure, after watching this i definitely know that anyone can make a cheap film, the rest isn't much my cup of tea.
User ReviewWS WWell, not as bad as I heard. It certainly can't compare with my favorite one by Christophe Honore: < Les Chansons d'Amour >, either. I felt rather complicated seeing Honore's directorial style passing from neo-La Nouvelle Vague to quasi-hardcore porno. Obviously impromptu & random in production which makes this medium length feature looking so raw, though with some delicate moments still.
User ReviewBob VA big to-do was made about this film, the second one in a short time starring French gay porn star Sagat in a non-porn role (if the name doesn't ring a bell, I affectionately dub him Hung Lego-head Bubblebutt Boy, which really describes him perfectly). Chiara Mastroianni's career must be in bad shape or she was doing someone a HUGE favour, because I have no idea why she is in this film. I could actually go on endlessly enumerating what is wrong with this product, in detail, but I need to get some sleep so let's be brief: if you're expecting a film with a plot, actual dialog & characters with a personality, then you'll be disappointed. If you're expecting explicit sex with a little story wrapped around it, you're better off getting one of the major porn studios higher-class releases, because you and your penis will be disappointed. Ergo, this movie serves no purpose at all, except to once again prove that a little well-stirred hype, and a hint of calculated controversy will always result in more exposure than a product necessarily warrants.
