Leave your thoughts about Mademoiselle Fifi.
Combustible CelluloidJeffrey M. AndersonA rare non-horror film for producer Val Lewton, the oft-forgotten Mademoiselle Fifi moves with the same intelligent, elegant style and economy as his other films.
Ozus' World Movie ReviewsDennis SchwartzMy hat is off to the filmmakers who made this brave film.

User ReviewGiovanni VThis and "Youth Runs Wild" stand out among Val Lewton's films, as they are not horror movies. This is the more successful of the two. The beautiful Simone Simon finally gets to play a French woman, rather than a Eastern European cat person. Jason Robards' dad shows up again. A period piece about Germans invading France, released in 1944, is certainly interesting. But this is no Casablanca.
