Mob boss Vic returns to business from madhouse. Meanwhile his best and quickest assistant Mickey Holliday is having an affair with Vic's girl Grace Everly and, at the same time, with her sister Rita Everly. What will Vic do? Whom will he kill? I love it, it`s intelligent, hillarious, it has a Gabriel Byrne as Ben "Brass Balls" London and Richard Dreyfuss as "Vic the sick prick" in a role of lifetime, let`s not forget Jeff Goldblum as "Mick" in this " capo di tutti capo - dangerous mobsters" comedy which hapens in.. guess it, parallel "a la mafia" universe. I dont know how this film was not aknowledged as one of the best in genre, it has EVERYTHING a one comedy should have. Good chicks, intelligent story, inteligent sentences, act of a lifetime. Everybody, see this movie or die ! I mean it ! And let me tell you something , You can never really know the size of a person's brain until you have to clean it off the carpet, and let me tell you, Sleepy Joe had quite a brain. 10 Stars ! |
