The community refuses to cooperate, detective in charge and governor-appointed liaison Tom Redler even 'lost the file'. Kevin's employer and roommate are the first of a series of witnesses who make Lauren believe he's innocent and framed. Forensic expert Patty Sutton and his own deputy make her believe Redler is the killer, who will stop at nothing to hide the truth.
