Leave your thoughts about Loev.
The MacGuffinBrooke CorsoLoev is at its most beautiful and heartbreaking when it focuses on what is said when the characters aren't speaking.
Los Angeles BladeDavid Ehrenstein... there's also no doubt that Sudhanshu Saria will have a great career if he can continue to make films as tender, insightful and surprising as this one.
Next ProjectionDerek DeskinsSaria's penchant for generating his own faux conflict that arises out of service to the story rather than the characters is his ultimate downfall.
Mediaversity ReviewsLi LaiLOEV has its heart in the right place but suffers from uneven storytelling.
User ReviewKristin CSpoilers: Call me not understanding, but I loved the film all the way up to rape scene. The acting and writing and build up were superb in my mind. Loved all the various beautiful shots of India too. All the way up to that 20 second scene. Then, every fiber of me hated the American business man. My response was visceral. I think my response to this would be the same whether it be a man or a woman. I felt at that moment his friend became an abuse victim and the rest of Sahil's responses were because he was in shock. It is a violation. At that point the entire dynamic of the film changed for me and I wanted all interactions between the two of them to end. I felt at that exact moment the business man Jai deserved no relationships in his life. And luckily the writers seem to agree. The only good part of that outcome. Jeez. I could not rate it because of that.
User ReviewSurendra ASuperb movie on relationships. Gender does not matter. Loev is Love.
